We had the pleasure of hosting the Taranaki Foundation on Tuesday 23 July where we received our Community Champions Award.
The Taranaki Foundation was officially launched to the Taranaki Community in 2016 with Billings as a Founding Supporter. When Billings and RMY merged in 2021, Connect Legal Taranaki embraced the continuation of our fund with the Foundation which to date has enabled us to individualise the funding and support we provide for specific causes within the Taranaki community.
The Foundation offers donors the unique opportunity of building and sustaining funding streams for chosen causes in Taranaki about which they are passionate under the Foundation’s investment umbrella, which substantially reduces the costs and complexities of otherwise doing so. We hope to encourage clients to also think about this as a real option for themselves when they are looking to invest money during or after their lifetimes to give back to their Taranaki community.
Taranaki Foundation is all about bringing people together to make a lasting difference in local communities throughout the region. They connect generous local donors (large and small) with the people, projects and charitable causes making a real difference in Taranaki, and we are proud to be Founding Supporters.
